Meet Geddy Lee
Wednesday 12th June 17:30 at Glasgow - Sauchiehall Street
Musician and songwriter Geddy Lee, best known as the lead vocalist, bassist and keyboardist for the legendary Canadian rock group, Rush, will be joining us to sign copies of Geddy Lee’s Big Beautiful Book of Bass.
Written in Geddy’s singular voice, this book reveals the stories, songs, and history behind the instruments of his inimitable collection. Including interviews with John Paul Jones, Adam Clayton, Robert Trujillo and more, Geddy Lee’s Book of Bass is the definitive volume on the subject.
Terms and Conditions
Tickets are available online only, via this page and Eventbrite. There will be no allocation of tickets at Waterstones Glasgow Sauchiehall Street.
Each ticket includes a copy of Book of Bass, and entitles you to one place in the queue to have your copy of the book signed by Geddy Lee.
Due to the exclusivity of this event, tickets are strictly limited to 2 per person. Those accompanying ticketholders will be permitted to queue, but not allowed access to the signing area.
Children may accompany an adult with a valid ticket.
Tickets are non-transferrable. Tickets re-sold via an outside channels will be invalid. We may be verifying authentic ticket holders on the day, please be prepared to show ID.
Ticketholders must be present at the event to receive their signed copy of Book of Bass. If you are unable to attend, please contact events@waterstones.com
Geddy will sign the copy of Book of Bass included with the ticket only. He will not be able to sign any additional copies, previous titles, additional merchandise or musical instruments.
Ticketholders are advised to arrive by the advertised start time. The queue will begin to form no earlier than one hour prior to the advertised start time. The exact time at which the event ends will be determined by the promoters on the day.
There will unfortunately not be time for selfies or posed photos. A bookseller will be on hand to take a picture of you with Geddy as he signs your book.
Waterstones Glasgow Sauchiehall Street is a fully accessible venue. Where needed, the ticket includes a place for accompanying carers – please note, this will not include a copy of the book for the accompanying carer. Ticketholders should contact events@waterstones.com with any further enquiries.

All signings (unless otherwise stated) operate on a first come first served basis, so early arrival is often recommended.
