Margaret Atwood launches The Testaments at Waterstones Piccadilly
Monday 9th September 20:15 - 00:30 at London - Piccadilly
Waterstones Piccadilly is honoured to be hosting Margaret Atwood for the midnight release of her new novel, The Testaments, as part of an expansive one-night festival.
Margaret Atwood will headline an evening of panel discussions, readings and immersive experiences. Our celebration of resistance, courage, social change, and the power of language will build towards the chance to be the first to hear the novel’s opening as we approach midnight, read by Margaret Atwood herself.
Full line-up to be announced
Revisiting Gilead 15 years after the events of The Handmaid’s Tale, The Testaments is the sequel to Margaret’s Atwood seminal novel, and the literary event of the year.
The £15 Early Bird General Admission ticket guarantees entry on the night. The £25 Early Bird Book and Ticket option guarantees entry and includes a copy of The Testaments.
Some events throughout the festival will require registration: ticketholders will be the first to hear of these opportunities, as well as the evening’s full line-up.
